As a part of our responsibility, we believe that one critical aspect of our work is to write reports and make information availabledgerartwinktes.jpg (206122 bytes)le to our peoples on the international human rights advocacy of Indigenous peoples.  Accordingly, we publish and distribute extensive reports on all of our activities and our attendance at international fora relative to the work that we do.  As much as possible, these reports include the words of our elders and leaders as well as quotes from interventions relative to the issues of our communities.  In this way we are able to preserve the ancient wisdom and diplomacy of our leadership and add to the effectiveness of our strategies at all future forums in which our peoples might participate.

Another aspect of the responsibilty that we have assumed includes the maintenance of an extensive international e-mail list of Indigenous nations, organizations, and peoples as well as our allies in the struggle.   For those of our peoples that have internet access, this is an important method to maintain communications between the forums and meetings in which we are able to come together in person.  We also are willing to distribute the views and positions of other Indigenous nations and organizations through this list.  In this way, the valuable time that we do have together at international gatherings is more efficient and effective.

This page on our website will be used for making those reports and documents available.  Follow the links below for access to the named documents.
